Morvillo Abramowitz Partner Richard Albert will co-chair this year’s Federal Criminal Practice Institute CLE program sponsored by The New York County Lawyers’ Association and the Federal Bar Council. As co-chair, Mr. Albert will deliver the Welcome and Closing Remarks. He will also serve as moderator for a panel entitled, "Pre-Trial Issues: Plea Negotiations, Proffers, and Cooperation." This year's program will focus on state criminal practitioners seeking to acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to establish and develop a federal criminal practice. It will also offer developments on the latest issues in the Second Circuit, Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. Topics include: Pre-Trial Issues: Plea Negotiations, Proffers, Cooperation; Pre-Trial Issues: E Discovery; Prosecuting and Defending National Security and Terrorism Cases; Ethics: The On-line World, and many more. Mr. Albert will be joined by co-chair Mark B. Rosen, Esq., John Jay College of Criminal Justice, judges from the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York, assistant US attorneys, seasoned federal criminal practitioners, law enforcement officials, and academics.
