NYCLA President Barbara Moses Speaks On Judiciary Budget

09.11.13

Morvillo Abramowitz Counsel and New York County Lawyers' Association (NYCLA) President Barbara Moses discusses a recent report released by NYCLA's Taskforce on Judicial Budget Cuts in "NYCLA Sounds Alarm on Dire State of U.S. Judiciary Budget" (New York Law Journal, September 11, 2013). According to the taskforce report, reductions in funding for the Southern and Eastern districts threaten to imperil the functioning of the judiciary and public safety. "With New York's congressional delegation already squarely behind increasing the judiciary's budget after years of cuts, the report is intended to reach members of Congress outside of New York - each of whom will be receiving a copy," notes Ms. Moses.
