On Wednesday, February 29, 2012 Morvillo Abramowitz Partner Jeremy H. Temkin served as a member of the faculty of “The New York Tax WhistleBlowers Law: Nuts & Bolts & Ethics of Qui Tam Practice,” a panel sponsored by the CLE Committee of the New York City Bar Association. Mr. Temkin, who spoke on “Perspectives on the IRS Whistleblower Program,” was joined by a distinguished panel of attorneys addressing New York's recent extension of the State's False Claim's Act to tax claims, the Taxpayer Protection Bureau of the New York State Office of the Attorney General, and the ethics of qui tam practice.
