In Capstone to Successful Representation by Morvillo Abramowitz, U.S. Attorney’s Office Closes Probe into Shutdown of Moreland Commission, Without Bringing Charges

NEW YORK, January 11, 2016 – A closely-watched inquiry by the United States Attorney’s Office into the 2014 shutdown of the Moreland Commission on Public Corruption was brought to a successful resolution on January 11, 2016, with the U.S. Attorney’s formal announcement that no criminal charges would be brought. The Executive Chamber of the Office of the Governor of the State of New York was represented by Elkan Abramowitz, Judith Mogul, and Jacob Mermelstein of Morvillo Abramowitz.
