Jacobs collaborated to update Chapter 12AInsider Trading, in Law Journal Press' treatise entitled, White Collar Crime: Business and Regulatory Offenses. The updates address the Second Circuit’s decision in United States v. Blaszczak considering whether to impose the “personal benefit” standard established by the Supreme Court in Dirks v. SEC on insider trading cases brought under 18 U.S.C. Sections 1343 and 1348, pending insider trading legislation, and insider trading “reforms” proposed by the Bharara Task Force on Insider Trading
