Joshua Philip Bussen joined the firm as an associate in 2021. Prior to joining the firm, he was a law clerk for the Honorable Joseph F. Bianco on the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit and for the Honorable John G. Koeltl on the United States District Court on the Southern District of New York. Joshua received his J.D. from Wake Forest University School of Law in 2016, where he graduated as one of the top ten students in his class, magna cum laude, Order of the Coif, and Order of the Barristers. He was the senior articles editor for the Wake Forest Law Review, a member of the Wake Forest National Moot Court Team, captain of the Wake Forest AAJ Trial Team, and president of the trial bar association. He received Wake Forest’s Robert Goldberg Award and the North Carolina Advocates for Justice Award for aptitude in trial advocacy. He received his B.S. from Eastern New Mexico University in 2013. Prior to his clerkships, Joshua spent two years at an international law firm located in New York City.
